| Welcome to the Great
        Air Rally Grand Prix (GAR GP).  The GAR GP is an annual series of air rally events
        conducted in various parts of the world over the course of a calendar year. The GAR GP concept has evolved out of 10 years of conducting
        the Great Australian Air Rally (GAAR) and serves to continue the GAAR tradition
        established by Bluegrass Airlines.
        Objective
        The GAR GP is, first and foremost, about having fun.  It will provide a series of
        events for flight simulation pilots of all skill levels, from the novice to the more
        experienced pilots, to test their flight and navigation skills.
        Schedule of Events (approximately four each
        year)
        A GAR GP Schedule of Events is developed each year and will consist of
        approximately four events.  Some events will be a fixed feature of the GAR GP whilst
        others will be scheduled on a rotating basis.   This will allow for events in
        different continents and countries and with different event formats.
        GAR GP events will include, but are not restricted
        to, the following continent and country based Rallies:
        Great Australian Air Rally (GAAR);
        Great United States of America Air Rally (GUSAAR);
        Great United Kingdom Air Rally (GUKAR);
        Great European Air Rally (GEAR);
        Great Air Rally of Canada (GARC);
        Great Air Rally of South America (GARSA);
        Great Air Rally of Africa (GARA);
        Great Air Rally of Asia (GARoA); and
        Great South Pacific Air Rally (GSPAR).
        Other special events with a historical basis will
        also be scheduled and will include events such as the following:
        Great Around the World Rally (GAWR) - commemorating Qantas' Around the World
        service of the late 1950's;
        Great England to Australia Air Rally (GEAAR) - commemorating the England
        to Australia Air Race of 1919, Bert Hinkler's first solo flight between England and
        Australia of 1928 and the MacRobertson Air Race of 1934; and
        Great Trans-Pacific Air Rally (GTPAR) - commemorating Charles Kingsford
        Smith's first trans-Pacific flight of 1928.
        Event Formats
        The format for each event will be detailed on the specific event web site.
        The flights will involve either and / or a combination of VOR, NDB and "dead
        reckoning" navigation under both day and night Visual Flight Rule (VFR)  and /
        or Instrument Flight Rule (IFR) conditions.  Variable departure times and weather
        conditions will also exist.
        Rules, Registration and Eligible Aircraft
        Rules, event registration and details regarding eligible aircraft for each event will be
        detailed on the specific event web sites when the event is formally launched.
