Von Sennet, 04-20, pa-002, clipper, 14:26, bgas001, Southampton-St Johns Newfoundland  Sept 10th last day of the year with 12 hour days.
Left Southampton at sunset 1930 (local)
Arrived St John's at dawn 0556 (local)
Used real weather, at 346dme I slowed to 140 knots as I was going to be early.
At 100 dme I picked up a tail wind so I slowed to 120 knots.
Pretty dicey landing, wind switched to 290° at 30 knots.  Real weather threw the altimeter for a loop.  Must have been flying into a low pressure.  Had to adjust over 600' twice, and lesser amounts several times.  (radar altimeter a big help)

Von Sennet, 04-20, pa-02, clipper, 29:00, bgas001, Two flights on 12-21 (shortest day)
Took off from Southampton at sunset, first flight with real weather, terminated at Charlotte P.E.I. not light yet, and not enough fuel to continue.
Second flight crashed at Halifax (rough water ?)
