R. Hoot Hooten, 12/11, 801 , L749, 4.25, BGAS016, really enjoy flights to and from the Islands, nice secenry.
R. Hoot Hooten, 12/14, BAL-5 KOAK to KSKF, R4D, 7.60, BGAS016, Took off from Oakland at 0700, in heavy wund abd rain, but climb out and into the sun shine at 6500'. It was very windy the whole trip between 50-60 knots, from around 200 dgrees to 250 dgrees, so flew sidways for most of the trip, no wind at Kelly, and did a good landing. So more to come, long way to Berlin.

Bill Agee, 12-20, am-4, b40a, 11.63, bgas006, kftw-konm-knxp-kbur, Ft Worth-Socorro-Twenty-Nine Palms-Burbank. Had a hard time getting off the ground at Socorro, so I passed up Pleasant Valley AZ since it is 5688 Elv. Had to pick a way thru some mt's. Bi-planes sure are neat old birds. Very nice trip
R Hoot Hooten, 12/20/02, 807, L-749, 5.20, BGAS016, Just got
FSNav, so used it to plan the route, used the auto route, so it was interesting
the way it routed me from KMFE-KHOU-KNEW-KTPA-KSAV. Pretty smooth flight,
I have added some secnery flies for the southern part of the states, and that
has added to the enjoyment of flying. Never tire of the Connie, she is
nice bird to fly.
R. Hoot Hooten, 12/21/02, BAL-5 KSFK to KNIP, R4D, 5.75, BGAS016,
I flew this leg, somewhat different, but only at night rather than in the
day. Part of the reason is that I downloaded the "Real Stars",
from net and I wanted to see how they looked. They are great really adds
to night flying. The trips was smooth, no winds and no bumps. The
new scenery I have loaded really looked good even at night with a full
moon. Still a long way from Berlin, but looking forward to crossed the
big pond.

ATC-IFR 7min late at Wenatchee 19min late at Spokane. Heck of a way
to run an airline. ATC brought me around from the east at both airports for a
stuped 1knot wind. Used runway 30 at Wenatchee and 21 at Spokane.
Taking off from Seattle (rw31) turned to 160 to SEA vor then east.
7500' From Wenatchee followed river north until reaching sufficient
altitude to turn east.

Used real weather and flew vfr. Violated the current rules by flying
through cloud banks several times. But in 1935 they didn't have ifr and
the pilots had to do it by the "seat of their pants" Cheated a
little by using vor's and fsnav.

knif-kcef, Well this was leg 5 of my trip to Berlin. I have loaded a
large amount of landclass scenery for the US, so this slow flight up the East
coast from NAS Jacksonville to New York was a great deal of fun. Had some
wind but not much. I have really enjoy these flights and I am looking
forward to Berlin.

cheated somewhat on this flight, as I downloaded a spectacular 747-400 by
Meljets at AVSIM.com It is a wonderful plane to fly and if you have any
interest in big iron try it. It is a repaint by Melvin Rafi of the Meljets
747-400 with loads of eye candy. I took off from Fort de France TFFF and
flew to Bahran Int OBBI at 41000 ft had 100kt tail wind so my GS was close to
600kts. I plan to fly around the world in this aircraft. This
flight was planned using FSNav a great program
