Kevin Johnson, 1-1, charter, Comet, 2.25, bgas005, cyyq-kjfk, This was the second leg of a transatlantic flight from Gatwick to Idlewilde.  The original fuel stop was planned for St. John's but low ceiling and blowing snow caused the divert to Sydney. 

The appraoch into New york was exciting: in the dark, rain, 500' ceiling and 3 miles vis.

So my route was KMIA - MYGF - MYAT. It was a very nice flight. Passing the Bimini islands I saw a Bluegrass hangar for floatplanes on north Bimini. Very exciting. I will fly (my next flight) there with Grumman Goose.

Needed a break from the cold and snow and bad vis. Replaced the .air file in the otter with the .air
file from the Lago twin otter amfibian and it works better than the original. Much better flight
characteristics. I also added the shark textures from one of the wheeled versions, so I'm the only one
in the world flying a shark amfibian with an enhanced IFR panel.
