VIDP.  I flew at 39000ft.  I had a 105kt tailwind all the way, IAS was 290, GS was 639kts.  Not much to see from FL390.  I used FSNav to plan and FS2002 ATC to fly.

Hoot Hooten, 01-03, Charter, 747-400, 6.19, bgas016, rjjt-phnc, Well i am getting closer to my starting point in my around the world flight.  I left Tokyo Internation at 1am, climbed to FL440, nt much of a view, but nothing to see but the wide blue ocean.  That level my IAS was 250 but my GS was 611kts, had a tailwind of 125kts for all of the trip until I begin dropping down for my landing in Hawaii. It was my best with this 747.  Well on to LAX

R. Hoot Hooten, 01-04, Charter, 747-400, 5.45, bgas016, phnl-klax, Well one more leg to fly and i will have flown around the world.  It has been great fun.  I have loaded alot of sensery for this flight and it has all added very much to the trip.  I had hoped for a good tailwind, but the jetstream was well norh of my flight track.  I flew at FL389, showing mach.92.  That gave me GS of over 500kts.  I love my old R4D, but have to take my hat off to the 747, it is big but gentle aircraft to fly. Landing if done by the book is very easy.

Safety reminder:  Use the checklist and visually verify the gear is down and locked!  After turning on final at 10 miles I set the flaps to thirty.  Called for the gear (thought I pushed "G") at 7 miles.  As the aircraft settled onto the runway (a little lower than normal!), the engines died!  Gulp!  A quick glance at the panel showed NO green lights for the gear.  This ruined a really nice flight!  Oh well, the maintenance boys can fix that!

Hoot Hooten, 1-12, nwa4, L10A, 2.25, bgas016, kbfi-kgeg, Took off and followed the flight plan on the site, it was raining and windy at Boeing Field.In the clouds at 2800ft out and on top at 7000.  I flew at 7500ft.  I never saw the ground until i was 25 miles from Spokane, when I let down to 4300ft.  Had a heavy cross wind on landing, had to crab alot to stay some what lined up with the runway.

Intresting note that I was Clear of the mountains and was just looking around and tried to switch back to the cockpit view and the aircraft crashed, think it was because the view point at boeing field and the aircraft were on opposite sides of the mountain as as I went throgh the airport tower view it tried to scroll to the aircrft and crashed the plane, a bug in FS98?. Luckly I was testing flying boats early and I had the crash detect off.
