Bill, I am still using FS2000.  I suppose I'll have to brake down before
long and pick up FS2002.  I have FS2000 downloaded with all the stuff I
really like and hate to start over.

Thanks for the return list for Yukon River.  I am looking forward to the
MacKenzie River flight.

Have a good 4th yourself and take care.  Bill A

Hey Guy's,I downloaded the best DC-3 ever! What a plane, I flew my new DC-3 from Memphis to Nasville and I can say it was a smooth flight all the way.The plane is by Bill Rambow,Roy Chaffin and Jan Visser, great work guy's! The Panel's are the best that I have seen in any DC-3 including the one that I purchased a year ago for $30.00

bucks. This will be the plane for all my flights or most of them

Bill,

I am wondering what brand of afterburner our intrepid outback adventurer is
using that enables a DC3 to fly something like 1500km (932 statute miles) in
a straight line in 2:06.    Hmmmmm  the mind boggles.     I would have
expected his total time to be in the order of 12:00.      Perhaps there is a
10hr typo here?

Cheers
Brian

Bill & Brian, I use the old Phillips 66 102 octane fuel in my DC-3.  You would not believe the performance I get. <BG> I must admit that the time is a bit quick even for a Texan where folks has over 900 miles of fence line to check before supper time.  If your late for supper, it's fed to the dogs.  After a check of the log the Report should have been:

07-11,bgad-577,dc-3,8:18,bgas006,ygel-ycar-yplm-yppd-ybrm

Damn senior moments.  I suppose the flight would not count as a Aussie air speed record????  No,  well, Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

I checked out 569 and 570 and they were not in the DC-3 flight schedules.  I
checked some more in my downloads and found them as he said.  I stand
corrected but must say it was strange they were in another area.  Must be a
Down Under thing.  <BG>

I will be flying them in the next couple of days.

Bill, it is 67 degrees and raining again.  Will be doing some flying this
weekend with this kind of weather.  We can tell Brian with his directions
and wisdom, now according to my log, I have completed all Australian
Division DOUGLAS DC-3 flights.  By the way when Brian used the word
"intrepid"  I thought of the car.  I looked it up and was surprised as to
the meaning.  Best complement I have had in a month of Sundays. <BG>

Bill, I really enjoyed the Alcan Flight,  Thanks again for sending me the
Bush
Flying Adventures.  I am going to send an email to Odell. I was amazed how
well the highway ran through the terrain and was clear to view all the time.
Great Flight.

Bill Agee
07-16,m03p,dhc-2,6:24,bgas006,mmtm-mmtx-mmvr

Bill, when I put VRCZ in location, it came up with MMVR.  So I flew to MMVR
from MMTX.

I was impressed with how many Mountains you have to fly around.  Keeps you
on your toes. Not many valleys.

Bill Agee
07-17,m05p,dhc-2,4:54,bgas006,mmvr-mmmt-mmva-mmcp

Bill, I know some of airports are different but that was all I could find in
my msfs2K.

I'm thinking of flying M03P again and trying to stay at a lower altitude by
flying the canyons around the Mountains instead of over. I see now
why there are so many small plane crashes in Mexico

Bill Agee
07-18,m03p,dhc-2,4:16,bgas006,mmtm-mmtx

Followed River West from mmtm to a lake, highway went west then ran in
river.  followed river to south of mx63. Highway ran to two lakes. From
lakes highway went west to south of mmzm. Highway forked, took north road to
river that was 22 miles west of mmtx. Turn west on river branch that went
right to the air strip of mmtx which is right on the river. Keeping to the
canyons, I kept a low flight.  Had to go over 8K a couple of times.

Bill, I sure enjoyed the flight.  You sure have to be on your toes on low
flying. I have the flight path turned on in the map view.  It looked like a
snake trail.

Bill, this flight was fantastic.  I should have put in the survey that
flights like the Pipeline, Yukon, Berlin Flights are my favorite.  The
scenery was beautiful on the Pipeline.  Odell did a great job.  Thanks for
sending me the Flights.  I think there is one left to do.  I am looking
forward to it. I hope my answers for the survey is OK as far as giving the
information that was being looked for.
I suppose some folks like structure more than others.  It will be
interesting to see what the over all answers will be. Looking forward to the
results.

I was going to fly to the end of the river, got lost in the waterways.
There sure is a lot of water in the area. I would like to do this flight in
real time weather.

 Bill Agee
07-26,fl-805,dhc-2,3:54,bgas006,khou-klit

Bill, I cranked up the weather on this flight with thunder storms, heavy
rain and high winds.  I flew instruments and had a very bad time with the
wind.  Had to pull up twice on the landing to keep from crashing.

07-27,car115,dc3,2:12,bgas006,katl-ksav

I have been flying thunderstorms and on this flight I almost lost it when I
wondered up a little high in to a thunder head.  I was slowed down to 90 Kts
then the next second I was doing 180 Kts and jumping 700 feet in elevation.
Got out of there quick after a few shakes, rattles and almost Roll. Never a
dull moment. <BG>

07-29,car5,dc3,2:12,bgas006,mtpp-mdhe

Bill, I can't believe that I hit the top of the mountain.  I was flying by
instruments with quarter mile visibility. I came down to quick for the
landing.  That is the first crash I have had a long time for flying too low.
Seen the peak coming, tooo late.
