Golden Wings 3

I finally got around to installing Golden Wings 3 by Bill and Lynn Lyons. You install a new clean installation of FS 9 and then add GW 3 to it.When you want to fly into modern airports you use FS 9, and the rest of the time you fly with GW3.Needless to say, I donít plan to be using the old FS 9 very often.

You wont find LAX on GW 3, but you will find Grand Central Terminal (Glendale, California) where the TAT Tri-Motors landed. Most of todays major airports have disappeared and airports reminiscent of the 1930ís are in their place.

AI aircraft never fly higher than 10,000í and consist of a variety of early aircraft such as Tri-Motors, Tavelairs, Lockheed L10 Electras etc.

My hat is off to Bill and Lynn for all the effort they have put into Golden Wings over the years.†† I had the original on FS98 and GW 2 ever since.†† GW 3 is worth spending the hour or so to install it.I am enjoying the ďoldĒ environment while flying Bill & Lynnís Waco Classic Biplane in the Vintage Fly-In Challenge.
