Feature of the Month

Flying the Yukon River

This month’s feature is a dive into the Bluegrass archives. In 2003 Bill Odell wrote up an adventure flight along the Yukon River. This flight runs from Carmack in the Yukon to Sheldon Point in Alaska.

It is presented as Bill wrote it, with the minor addition of the FSX codes for two of the airports.

Bill flew C-47s during the war and once cryptically mentioned landing in Europe on D Day-1. He never elaborated on the story.

The Yukon flight is available here: Flying the Yukon River
