TOUGH MAN CHALLENGE   #5

By Ron Jorgensen

FS 9                               HIGH ALTITUDE AIRPORTS                          FS 9

Argentina, Bolivia, Chile and Peru

This  is strictly for HIGH altitude landings/takeoffs.  It is restricted to single engine aircraft (Turbo’s allowed ONLY if your favorite planes can’t make it).  Oxygen is required on any flights above 10,000'.  Some times it helps to only carry ½ or less than the full  fuel load.  WATCH your flap and speed settings this high up.  Seems like “lift” is in short supply.  If you retract your flaps to soon you better have your wheels down. Touch-N-Go’s to the next field is not allowed that is unless you don’t make it down the first try.  You must come to a complete stop at each location.

And here is a flight a little off beat for a bonus using an Amphibian.  I used the C208Amphib.  I tried a couple of other small amphibians but could not get off the water.  Your choice.
