This leg is mostly over water, and the Inagua NDB only has a 75nm range.  Exuma is on Standard time.

I arrived in Inagua at 9:13 am (daylight time) and the NDB became active just after passing Spring Point.

On Great Inagua Island the largest employer is the Morton Salt Company.

After we take off we will pass over the salt gathering ponds.  Soon after leaving Great Inagua behind, West Caicos will come into sight, and just beyond it Providenciales.   In recent years Provo has become a tourist hot spot.

My flight time with the PBY Catalina was 51 minutes.

As you are approaching Grand Turk, you may notice a blue arrow painted on the ocean!

Not very “as real as it gets”, I placed it there to enable night landings for an earlier adventure.

Rest up and enjoy the beach, we will leave for the Dominican Republic on June 7th.
