Trans Mar de Cortes
provided a local service around the Gulf of California, formerly
known as the Sea of Cortes, in the late ‘50s to early ‘60s.

At this time the aircraft fleet consisted of DC-3s.
Santa Rosalia is now only a VOR, so we’ve added
in the nearest airfield at San Ignacio.
