Cathay Pacific Airways

Cathay Pacific Airways were formed in 1946 by a group of former CNAC pilots from America and Australia. During the early ‘50s the routes extended  south to Singapore via Saigon, west to Bangkok, Rangoon and Calcutta and south east to Manila, and Labuan.

The flights below came from the ’57 timetable from www.timetableimages.com .

These routes were flown using DC-4s and DC-6s during ‘57. Previously Cathay Pacific had used DC-3s and Catalinas as they developed their routes.
