Air Jordan ’55
Air Jordan
In 1950 Air Jordan was founded by H. E. Ismail Bilbeisi Pasha to operate Airspeed Consuls on various short-haul routes from Amman. Investment from the American Trans Ocean Airlines in 1953 upgraded the aircraft to DC3s.

flights below came from the November ’55 Air Jordan timetable from www.timetableimages.com .
In
’70 Air Jordan were operating DC3s and C-46 aircraft on these routes. Flights
that connected Beirut and Damascus did not allow local traffic between these
airports.
The
radio beacon for Damascus, a waypoint for Petra sightseeing and a further
waypoint to keep routes out of what was then the limits of Israeli airspace
have been added to routes as needed. For flightsim simplicity
the Israeli code for Jerusalem is used as it appears in FSX. The airport has
not moved, just the political situation.
No
