CIDNA ’33
The Arrow of The Orient
CIDNA
CIDNA
or Compagnie Internationale de Navigation Aerienne is one of the progenitors of
Air France. CIDNA was originally called Compagnie Franco-Roumaine de Navigation
Aerienne when it was formed in 1920.
The
airline equivalent of Orient Express was achieved when the service from Paris
was extended to Constantinople (modern day Istanbul) in October 1922.
The company name was changed to CIDNA in 1925. CIDNA then merged with three other airlines to form Air France in August ’33.
The
flights below came from the Summer ’33 CIDNA timetable from www.timetableimages.com .
In
’33 CIDNA were operating the Fokker FVIIb/3m. f7_fr_v2.zip
