Our ObjectiveTo provide a fun event for flight simulation pilots to compete with others from every corner of the globe, and to test the flight and navigation skills of pilots during 10 flights over Australia from top to bottom. Welcome toThe Great Australian Air Rally 2020This year we are joined by WestWind Airlines in presenting the GAAR. This should allow us to present fights for FS9, FSX, P3D and Xplane. We will also have airfield information prepared by John Allard at Mutley's Hangar. Flights and airfield information will be available from mid February. We begin at Darwin and head South to Adelaide. The longest leg
is 280nm and the shortest runway is 3,540'. The daily
flights are listed with recommended weather. John
Allard has kindly produced airport diagrams for the event in jpg
format. They are available for free download in a zipped bundle from
the Mutley's Hangar File library. The link to the new Mutley's
Hangar Airport Diagram Download Center is... Navigate to the bottom of the long listing of airport groupings and select the entry for the GAAR 2020 which lists the airports and a further link to the download folder.
