John Lawler, 02-13-06, KMWH-KMWH, 169, bgad017, DH89A Dragon Rapide, North Central Washington Mail Pilot, via KEPH, KEAT, 2S5, S10, 8W3, KOMK. Leg times 15, 23, 16, 12, 13, 27, 63. An interesting round, the outstanding highlight being Chelan, with a "wall of death" approach onto a very short final, and the looming cliff across the river guaranteeing a stiff climbout on the direct route to Mansfield. Was Chelan also the place with the very tall trees clustering just beyond the threshold on takeoff, or was that Waterville? Mail pilots certainly earned their money!

John Franco, 02-02-06, EGLL-EGVN, 77, BGAN011, DC3 Bluegrass, I was trying to execute the scheduled airmail flight in the North Division from EGLL(Heathrow) to EIDW (Dublin, Ireland) {flight#P0054M}. At cruise altitude, i had different amounts of fuel in the two wing tanks. Suspecting that it was a fuel leak, I decalred an emergency on FS passengers and squaked 7700 to aviod a points penalty. It turned out that I didnt have a fuel leak and was penalized money instead. At least i played it safe.
