Newest reports on top.

Paul van den Berg, 11-28-06, KSEA-KPAE, 54, bgak036, 747-400, First (test) flight in the "Queen". What a beast. Have to read the AOManual for sure. Especially the Fuel system... had a flame out on #2 (why??!) , so had to make a N-1 approach/landing to Everett. Well, any landing you can walk away from is a good one they say... I believe them.

Paul van den Berg, 11-26-06, KMIA-KMTH, 53, bgak036, DC-3C, Cargo flight. Found myself parked at the former "corrosion corner" (NW area), where back in the 80-ties the DC-4's, -6's and -7's were parked. I once visited Trans Air Link, a cargo company which operated a former KLM DC-7. Her old KLM-name "Zuiderzee" was still visible etched in the bare metal!

This was made before Heinkel started producing the bomber versions.

george adair, 11-02-06, KFHR-74S, 124, bgan012, Scot Pioneer, Toughman island hopping. I started out in haze but quickly went into soup weather. Hopping from island to island sure is different, barely got into the air when I had to look for the other runway and get lined up. Missed a few and had to go around a couple of times to find 38wa. At one point in the heavy rain I almost circled right back around and was lining up to land where I just left. How embarrassing that would have been.
