final jump to OZ. Three attempts before a real ugly one two three leg skidding
touch down, according to the sock there was one stiff cross wind to work with

for it viability at times 0/0 even with all de-ice and heat on the pitot tube
and anti-static would freeze over and I would loose airspeed and vacume gyro's
untill I would slow and drop to a lower altitude and it would start working
again. Last ranger out said he would be glad to get to the ground and see us in
week.

point I had invisioned was W55 where approach is between the big tower in
Seattle and not the other place where Don & Kenny landed. Didn't get a
landing bonus because I didn't land at Kenmore.co and it also explains why I
couldnt see Don (BGAD042) landing.

Island was used to ferry supplies and to North Africa during WWII. Route was
from Recife to Ascension then to Takoradi Air Base in Ghana. South African
DC3's were also delivered via this route.

down a little fast and skidded off the runway, need to do some repairs. Very
relaxing flight watched the sun come up and not much of anything else out
there. Just shy of 8 hours in the air.
