real weather, updated First TMC leg#5
after climbing out to 3500 on a moonless 3 in the morning flight found myself
between two clouds layers tuned VOR radios to TAL and BTT and 28 miles from TAL
the layers converged and it was darker than a black cat in a coalmine, had to cheat a little and turn the GPS on and used
it on 10mile range to weave my ways through the mountains, once
clear landed with a slight cross wind.

After the tuff GAAR 2009 schedule needed a little sun and silence
, had to reinstall the CCS 2004 program as I had computer problem and had to
reload everything. but towed to 2000 and released ,
then used the tab+w and the marque
said a thermal .5 miles away so turned to the heading, some sink then started climbing.cicled in until topped out at 8000.turned to the
next wich was small and weak so headed to field
knowing that the program was working fine, entered down wind , lowered gear an flaps, trimmed turned for final raised the spoilers. and touched down like a butterfly with sore feet.

real weather, updated first TMC leg#3 this was suppose to be a short flight
according to the briefing, but Alaska decided diffrently,
just got to the mountians and the snow storm hit, was
not going to snake through valleys with vis less than
quarter mile, so plot a course around the hills and follow the river, cieling now down to 1000ft and FOG + snow drop flaps
and slow fly down to 400Ft agl before i see the river and trees, finaly
a approch light ,a red dot, moves below the right
wing tip, a hard right and i see the becon. After three attempts finally find and land on the RW.
